Motor Vehicle Titles & Registration

The Tax Office provides motor vehicle title and registration services on behalf of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Eligible vehicle registration renewals can also be completed online through Texas by Texas (TxT).

Drop Box: A drop box is available on the front porch of the Jourdanton office for eligible tax payments and registration renewals. Receipts or registration stickers are mailed back. No title work may be submitted through the drop box.

H-E-B Registration Renewals: The Tax Office currently lists H-E-B locations in Pleasanton and Lytle as options for certain eligible registration renewals. Bring your renewal form. Expired registrations and farm registrations are not eligible through this option.

Mailing a Time-Sensitive Payment?

The U.S. Postal Service has changed when some mail receives a postmark. Mail deposited close to a deadline may receive a later postmark while being processed. For time-sensitive payments, consider paying electronically, mailing early, or requesting a postmark at a Postal Service retail counter.
